Drishti-Soft Solutions has launched FreePBX based IP-PBX offering for enterprises especially in the SMB segment. Based on open-source Asterisk, the full-featured IP-PBX comes for free. The software based IP-PBX offers next-generation call management features such as auto attendant, voicemail, e-mail integration, call conferencing, call recording, IVR, call presence, Day/Night, follow me, SIP/ZAP extensions and graphical reports.

The IP-PBX bears additional advantages over the legacy PBX in terms of flexibility and extensibility, the company claimed. The IP-based solution can scale more than 2,000 extension and can be integrated with third-party PBX, speech engines and even applications like CRM.
