Consilium Software, a leading independent Unified Communications solutions company, has announced that it has successfully completed Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) of Consilium UniAgent under the Cisco Developer Network (CDN) program. Consilium Software is a member of the Cisco Developer Network which is an evolution of the Cisco Technology Developer Program (CTDP.) While CTDP was certification-centric, CDN shifts focus to delivering business solutions to joint customers. Members of the program share Cisco’s strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction and are required to undergo interoperability testing based on criteria set forth by Cisco. The Consilium UniAgent™ and Consilium UniInsight solutions have been developed and marketed as a helpdesk-focused offering for Cisco Unified Contact Center. Both solutions have been proven in successful production usage for several months.
Consilium has completed the Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) of Consilium UniAgent Remedy Plug-in for Cisco Unified Contact Center Express under the ‘Contact Center / CRM and Desktop Applications’ solution category. Consilium UniAgent is an interface-less connector for CTI integration between the Cisco agent application (Cisco Agent Desktop) and BMC Remedy client applications. BMC Remedy (www.remedy.com) is an IT Service Management Suite. “By demonstrating compliance through IVT, Consilium can now promote our products and technologies as Cisco Compatible. This informs prospective customers that Consilium has taken the appropriate steps to prove the interoperability of the solution. Customers faced with a choice between tested and un-tested products are likely to prefer the product that has gone through IVT,” said Aman Basra, Senior Director, International Services Operations at Consilium Software. |
