Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, announces the appointment of Sandeep Girotra as head of human resources for its customer management operations in India, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with immediate effect. Located in New Delhi, Girotra is responsible for leading the HR teams in India and EMEA.
Sandeep is a post graduate in HR from T.I.S.S, Mumbai, and has served in different HR roles in various companies, including DuPont India. He joins Convergys from General Electric, where he spent the last twelve years working in Asia in a variety of roles and countries. Prior to this appointment, he served as the HR Leader for commercial organization and enabling functions, including Operations, IT and Risk and the Chief Learning Officer for GE Capital, Asia Pacific. He has acquired a diverse background across all HR functional areas as well as the experience of managing a regional HR organization as part of a large multi-national company.
