ExlService Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:EXLS), a leading provider of outsourcing and transformation services, today announced a partnership with NASSCOM Foundation to donate previously owned computers from its India offices to Indian non-profit organizations through NASSCOM Foundation’s BiG Bridge Program. As a formal start of this partnership, EXL has donated more than 400 computers to NASSCOM Foundation. Additionally, EXL commits to disposing of end-of-life technology equipment in an environmentally friendly manner through certified e-waste handlers enlisted with NASSCOM Foundation.

The BiG Bridge program promotes education, employability and entrepreneurship through computer donations. The objective of this program is to optimize the use of computers by increasing their life through refurbishment, and then maximizing the capacity of development organizations through access to technology at low cost. NASSCOM Foundation defines Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as these win-win situations where Indian corporatesare active partners in India’s development. The BiG Bridge program serves as a means through which companies efficiently engage in Business Responsibility with maximum impact. |
